Is there anyone aware of a link where I could see some real-life samples of this lens? There's nothing around except 2-3 samples from Canon website, but this lens started shipping in the 2nd half of May so by new there should be some.

I've seen some posts over on DP Review... from actual users.

Looks like the lens is going to be a looker, that's for sure.

I was offered the TS-E 17mm f/4 for the local equivalent of 2,314.032 USD. Worth it?

It depends upon what the price for that lens would ordinarily be, in the Philippines!

$2500 was its stated price at PMA show

It's an parallel import and my authorized contact has yet to reply to my email about the official price.

L primes tend to be indent orders that can extend up to almost 4 months.

Better question would be if it was offered to you for 2,314.032 USD would you go for it?

Well in UK it's around £2100, so $2300 would be good (£1.00 = $1.60). US prices are lower than here anyway though.
