quick pocket wizard plus and plus2 question

If I have the older pocket wizard plus transmitter and and pocket wizard receiver, and wanted to add more pw's....I can buy the newer pw plus 2 transceiver models and would still be able to fire it from the transmitter I already have, correct?

Yep. Your old transmitter will fire the Plus II transceivers. NOTE: I don't own PWs, but I am pretty sure this is the case.

A: Yes, standard triggering will work in this fashion. You will not get
HyperSync or E-TTL II using this method however. For standard
triggering, make sure the FlexTT5 has been set to a Standard
Channel. If so, it will fire a flash from P2 or the top hot shoe in sync
with all of your other PocketWizard radios.

I believe most PW models are compatible to each other, just that with the new ones they don't give TTL with the old ones
