Los Angeles Zoo today, no ps'ing. Such intensity in her gaze. And then...she sent me a raspberry!

Great shots, I would crop the right corner of the second one. Not sure what's in the corner but its distracting.

Thanks, Michael. I hadn't even noticed that. It's part of a log. I'll go crop it out in a bit.

Here's one more of her. She was really paying attention to the sleeping King of the Jungle; dunno why, he wasn't even snoring! LOL

Great sequence of shots. She's a beaut.

Bless the recently fallen and their family and friends.
I have a Cannon with me at all times. You can't take the shot if you don't have something with which to shoot.

Maureen, your "Rasp-"Beary" " inspired me to actually post my raspberry from her. I loved yours, and when I realized I got the lioness doing it, I figured I'd get it up here for laughs.

Skip, indeed it is an interesting sequence. There are several that I took which didn't quite come out as I had wanted, but that's all right - these did, and they really show her off.

I'll put more up over the next few days of the Lion, the Snow Leopard, the hippo, giraffe, peacock and some of the birds. I just didn't want to flood the boards tonight, so I thought I'd pace them out like that.

Thanks for all the kind words - I am really falling in love with this camera...it is allowing me to really get things I *see* but can't seem to get with the other one. Too bad I have to give it back to it's owner on Friday...

Best-
Noni

Noni: Thanks for the nice comment..... I think if you are falling in love with this camera, you better find a way to obtain one for yourself. Right now Costco.com has the 20D & kit lens for $1299 after a rebate. That is a great buy....hope you are able to swing it!
