i like it, nice job on the smooth water, hdr looks pretty natural


40d, 50mm 1.8, 28-135mm, sigma 105mm f2.8 macro, 430ex - still dreaming about the 70-200 2.8

HDR almost always needs a contrast boost. Try it. I think you'll like it better with one.

I like the composition, but it looked a little flat. You have image editing to OK so I bumped the contrast a little bit.

Great shot and for a first time HDR, looks great! Wish I could mine looking so nice ;-)a

added some digital velvia, contrast and some lab color sharpening to bring out the detail

I really like what you did with the last version.

First thing that came to mind was "That would make a great puzzle to work on!". My wife and I love to do puzzles.
