Another Good Storm

Had another good storm last night and we are under a severe storm warning at this moment....:cool::cool: Out of 101 shots, I got 8 with bolts in them, my best average ever.....:D

Have you tried doing long exposure instead of trying to capture the bolts with quick shots? That way, you wouldn't have to worry about the terrible ratio of pictures with bolts versus without.

Just a thought.

John, I usually expose for 3-5 minutes and see what happens. This night was a bit bright for real long exposures, they just washed out. Next dark storm, I may go for some longer exp's..... Seems you're always pointed in the wrong direction. :D
