1/50, 5.6, 100iso, 55mm

No cropping done. This is how close I slowly got up to this beast of an animal. I tried going macro on his face after this shot but he was so fast by the time my brain sent the signal to my finger to press the shutter button he was already at the top of the nearest tree.

Sorry for the aweful compression.

Sounds as if you're spending too much time with useless pursiuts like eating & sleeping. Get on with them!

You should paint it with Hartmann or Graf's tulip nose art. :D

About 2 feet.

I really wanted to get into his face but I think he thought that 2 feet was close enough and darted away. Weirdest thing ever.....All the squirrels I've seen should be called chickens but this one stood his ground. :p
