So I just opened a flickr and wanted to try posting an embedded photo from it.

This photo is from my very first portrait shoot that I did for a family friend. I had 2 fluorescent lights and didn't feel comfortable using my on camera flash, (just bought a 430 last night :0). Any critique welcome especially on the lighting in these and now that I have my speed-light what I can do in the future.

This might work as a medium size. How can I upload the larger, says it's within the 1024 size.

Well now that we got the posting issues out of the way... I think the shot is good for a first time run. The colors seem to be slightly cold in the guy's face, but not sure, it may be my monitor. The only other thing that I can pick out is the wrinkles in the backdrop to the left of the female. Clone those out cause the draw attention.

Hey,

In terms of uploading from flicker, don't create a link, instead use the insert image icon, and paste the farm url into it.

Like this:

Without the bracket change above of course :)

well done rmx7 much better size.apart from the afore mentioned wrinkles, the young mans skin could do with a little air brushing, and the hand around the ladies back would have been better completly in or completly out.

Awesome thanks a ton! that was driving me nuts lol. Thanks for the comments and the help guys I really appricate it. As far as his face I cleaned up quite a bit but didn't want to make anyone mad like his folks if I proactived his face. Good call on the hand on the back and wrinkles.
