Need help/ plexi glass baby reflection

I have a shoot tomorrow of a 6 month old. I bought a piece of plexi because I want to try reflection pics on her belly but cannot seem to get the reflection to show. Any tips on camera angle, light position ect to make this happen. I'm having trouble practicing on one of my daughters dolls but can't seem to get it to reflect much at all.

my husband works for a sign company so he is going to start bringing home different types of plastic for me to experiment with. (oh and it would be free)

^ so the watermark kinda ruined what little bit of reflection there was.

I have used a clear piece of plexi with white butchers paper laid underneath it on one occasion and I have used just a white piece of plexi-glass on another. I found the clear piece with the underlay to give much more reflection.

However, I decided in the end that I didn't want the 100% mirrored look and prefered the subtler reflection of the white piece. I also found keeping the camera position lower gave me the right spot for the reflection I wanted. But I guess it is a matter of experimentation

I use plexi glass quite often...below are a couple of recent shots i have done with it. I position my main light to camera left and i am usually standing back from the subject...pretty much eye level with him/her. you want to stand back some. if you are right over them or pretty close...it is harder to get a nice reflection.

Just move your shooting position and shoot where you see the reflection. Here is my first try.

most of the time the best reflections are from close to the angle of the plexi, I shot this yesterday, two pieces of plexi, bottom and background.
