Of course it didn't because this is really a picture of a flower with some kind of blurry off-level building in the background. It drew my attention from the flower, but had no real interest of its own. Joe

Put each in a third from different sides and you'd instantly have a noticable improvement. Still, the flower's just not interesting enough to pull the whole thing off.
