This is Jodie, who is 9 this year. Funny how the picture is more vibrant on my screen than on Flickr.

Not sure I understand what you are saying since your sentence is weird. You meaning my pic is overexposed? If so, it isn't on the screen on my computer. Maybe there is a way to make sure Flickr doesn't change it?

On the head of the dog i see a big white area.

She's a bleach blonde! Actually, she is very light on the top of her head and that is light from a nearby window. I didn't want to photoshop it...I like the picture.

Yeah, I know that...it was taken way back and there was a lot of light. Haven't had a chance to go back and totally fix yet.
