Hi all,

I've been thinking about upgrading my 17-40L to a 16-35L for quite some time. The 17-40 is my alltime favorite lens but I crave the faster aperture. I have currently using 30D bodies and Cokin P series filter holders and 85mm GND filters. I have both the 3 filter slot and the wide angle holder.

Does anyone know if it is possible to use the 85mm filters / holders on a crop body without severe vignetting?

It puts me in the position of looking for a used 16-35 MKI which I have read mixed reviews on in terms of performance. My 17-40 is very sharp from wide open.

Thanks.
