I lied I am not going to the store. I have corn, potatoes, and enough burger to pull off dinner.

Just had an organic peach that the wife brought home from Sam's Club. It was so good I had to eat it over the sink.

Yep, we always refer to them as sinkers, just because of this reason. They are always the best. :D

Looks great John. :D

:p don't mind the fuzz. Do not like, however, the bit of fruit surrounding the pit. I eat the whole kiwi, too :p

Do you eat the skin too? Never heard of that, but then I have been stowed away in the cold north for most of my life. :p

In Greece the peaches are the size of a grapefruit, and oh so delicious! You can make a meal out of them!

We are going food shopping after Eli finishes his homework, I generally do it over the weekend but totally spaced this weekend. I'll have to see if they have any decent peaches...mmmmmm.

You should as it will be worth it. If they don't have peaches just get 2 or 3 extra bags of cookies. Pretty much the same thing.

GAH!!! I say GAH!!!

I JUST found out from my vet that Kona cannot go to the dog park (or high traffic dog areas until Hale has all her shots...that stupid parvo can be brought home!).

cfpackerfan wrote in post #8114370 (external link)
Thanks for the input, Wooly. We have clay-ish soil, so it probably wouldn't work here.

Lisa, I hadn't even thought about that with the puppy..

But, you know Parvo can be carried in many ways. Just you walking to the store, then coming home, you could have picked it up on your shoes if an infected dog soiled in any areas where you walked, even months ago.

I think that the caution of Kona going to the dog park is a good one, because it is an area SO populated by dogs (though I would think that all the dogs there would have been vaccinated).

But I also think that if you start thinking about all the ways Parvo can be brought into your home, that you'll go crazy. There really is no way to prevent every single avenue. I have come in contact with Parvo many times at the shelter, then even though I wash my hands, I'm sure that I bring it home, or it stays in the vehicle, or something. If I think about it too long, it makes me nuts.

I've read that a bleach solution is the only thing that kills the Parvo virus. We've bleached everything in our yard, kennel, and dog beds, etc several times, but I'm sure that there are areas that have been missed.

It's scary to think about it, and I know you have to be uber careful with the little puppy. But try not to delve TOO deep into it. I'm not making light of your situation at all, quite the opposite, just trying to help you see that trying to avoid ALL possible parvo germs is like never going anywhere where someone may have coughed.

^^^so that. The precautions discussed should do fine

Anyone spent any time in San Fran? Wife and I are going to go there for our 5-year Anniversary in October. Just looking for thoughts on what to see/do from a fun and from a photographic perspective.

Fisherman's Warf and surrounding area and the mud flats across the bay. Folks make some weird sculptures out of the drift wood.

be back later... gotta go get Louie. They decided that they want a smaller dog.
So he'll be going to CA tomorrow morning.

Awwww, sorry it didn't work out this time, Cat. He will find a great home, no doubt.

Thanks, boss #1 is good with it, he will be talking with the other.:D

OK, someone help me out here. I edited stuff in LR, then the drive letter for where I saved them changed (not really sure how) and for some reason I can't really find the files...but I see them in LR. They were on my external HD, but when I open it now I don't see them...am I SOL?

Skrim17 wrote in post #8115301 (external link)
OK, pay no attention to the LR challenged woman in the corner. All is well now.

Attention diverted.

As long as there are no wrinkles I figure they are ok.

Michigan peaches are small and have some wrinkles, but; a whole lot of sweetness.

I don't mind the fuzz either, but; Curt does.

Did you tell them they just violated your copyright and you were going to sue if they didn't delete the picture?

Except they didn't, only the CD is copyrighted, otherwise how would our customers get prints?

Don't know why this one didn't quote....but hopefully they used a flash...and there is a big glare on the shot

That is what Curt asked, I don't remember there being a flash, however.
