Nice lists. I have seen Clapton, Santana, BB king all multiple times and Stevie Ray once not long before he was killed.

Leyla worked her way to the front at a Clapton gig and managed to hand her Drivers license to a roadie asking him to get it signed. I told her she was crazy at the time but sure enough we received an envelop from the next location he was playing with her license signed by Clapton.

That's AWESOME and very cool of him to do that.

In Greece the peaches are the size of a grapefruit, and oh so delicious! You can make a meal out of them!

Oh yum!

Skrim17 wrote in post #8115753 (external link)
We are going food shopping after Eli finishes his homework, I generally do it over the weekend but totally spaced this weekend. I'll have to see if they have any decent peaches...mmmmmm.

I went to hellmart this afternoon. Their fruit sucks. Got some good watermelon though.

I have living in an area with no options.

Sigh... Why am I always struggling to catch (rather than keep) up in here these days? :( I'm about 750 post back at the moment...

This week I've been working on those pics I got in Palmdale's Pioneer Cemetery on Memorial Day. I just got to one headstone where I wasn't able to make out the inscription. The stone was badly corroded and hard to read, making it very difficult in the first place. To make things even harder on me, it was in a foreign language. So, while I was there I took a dozen or so very close shots of it from several different angles, thinking I could zoom in close on the computer and see if it helped. Nope... It was still damn near impossible to read. I could, however, make out the first three words easily. That's when I got the bright idea to plug those three words into Google. The first result from Google was the entire text! It's Revelations 14:13 in German...

What did we ever do before the Internet?

I love peaches but can't stand the hairy skin. My wife peels them for me. She so good to me.

Ditto, except I peel my own. ;) Blondie was nearly born a peach...when I was pregnant with her, that was one of my worst cravings, and I think I ate 1/2 a bushel in a week, possibly 2.

Skrim17 wrote in post #8115502 (external link)
I'll only eat peeled peaches as well, but when they are good there is nothing better!

Ditto that!

Cat I was going to say that your clay is not anywhere near as bad as the clay that Dan is dealing with. The only thing you should have to do is dig a slightly larger hole and fill with pea gravel or reject sand.

Aha. Maybe I will try it then. Seems like a god solution to a lot of crap.

1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

3. The Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

4. The Italians drink a lot of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

5. The Germans drink a lot of beers and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

CONCLUSION: Eat and drink what you like; speaking English is apparently what kills you.

Except they didn't, only the CD is copyrighted, otherwise how would our customers get prints?

Even if you are selling the images, you still hold the copyright on them. The copyright is created at the time the image is made. The only way you can give up copyright to an image is to sign it away with a document.

Things like this just make me more and more impressed with the work that some of my other friends have done over the past couple decades in these pioneer cemeteries without the luxury of a fast search engine. We have it so easy these days, it's almost scary...
