I don't think it will keep the glass from showing the reflection of something but it will keep the light glare from shiny/chrome parts from flaring.

Hmmm...

Most definitely.

It is quite possible that I have never taken a photo of a car and actually paid attention. Would it keep the reflection of something that is in the window from showing up?

I know that a lot of people who shot cars us them to cut the glare.

It's a big town, there has to be a knucklehead or two. :)

Maybe they are still there after Salt Lake City had them all deported during the Olympics?

It won't keep the reflection of objects from showing up but will keep reflections of bright lights, glare, minimized. I guess I re-read Tiffs question and reflections can be interpreted two ways. We are saying the same thing though I think.

QUOTED IMAGE

It might tone down the bright reflections on the windshield and around the headlights a bit.

Well, I am going to have to start the scan all over. It found a bunch of .tif files, that makes no sense, but I think I may have done things wrong. Back to the drawing board. I sure hope these programs don't actually affect the card.

Jim it may be calling them .tif files because of some settings. If it pulled the files from the card and saved them to you computer you should be able to just change the file extension to .cr2 and it will be fine.

The other day I posted a picture of one of the knives I am working on. Several people commented on the pattern in the steel. This thread in another forum shows how the pattern is made in the steel. It is a very interesting read if you like science, construction or arty type stuff. The stuff you actually care about starts with post #15.

Mike will definitely like it.

There are a lot of conversation posts as well. Just skip over those and only pay attention to the posts with pictures in them. The final pattern in the steel can be seen in post 107.

A CPL would have turned your windshield clear...the sky reflection would virtually disappear.

Dammit. Oh, well.

Mildly amusing linky....be warned....it's a link showing a pic of brides/grooms with painted on clothing. All the important bits are covered with real fabric though.
