So, who will provide a quick summary of what happened around in the last month?

All the sane ones seem to be drifting off...I was worried you might be one of them.

WTH!?!?!?! I've been around pretty much. Guess I know where I stand. (messing with you, Chief.)

Beatiful sunset...

Don't worry Chief, I am not leaving you alone :p (and I am less sane than you may think...)

I've just been too busy and tired to find any time to stop by :o But I do think of you. Proof: while in the Netherlands, I took some shots that could be useful to the textures fans around...

I just fell asleep at my desk, my snoring woke me up.

I hate when that happens at meeting.

I have its predecessor a G9 and it works well. My guess is the G10 will be better.

Love the stadium shot

Hi everyone!
Here is a quick sunset shot from my stay in the Netherlands a few weeks ago. I'm going back in 3 weeks, so I may be able to take some more...

Nice sunset.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

Thanks Neil ..they dont sell the G9's new anymore do they?

No it was superseded by the G10. They look very similar but I would guess that being the later model the G10 will be better. It is a great P&S and fully compatible with all the canon speedlight flashes.

There is a slight shutter lag compared to DSLRs and the high ISO performance is not good. and the built in flash is just as bad as every other built in flash, but besides these issues it is the best small digital camera I have used and it shoots RAW.

Lightroom gurus...Tiff isn't here to answer me, lol! Who knows how to change the cropping aspect ratio from 2:3 to 3:2? I just want to crop vertically and I can't seem to figure it out!

Hi Didier mate, how is the job going for you with the long commute? Is it a permanent job now, or still for a few months only? We've all definitely missed you hanging around!

Diane sorry I'm not a guru ..

LOL, that's ok Deb, me neither. I downloaded the trial to test on hubs' desktop since I couldn't get it to cooperate with me the last time I tried.....I'm convinced there's something wrong with me, since many seem to LOVE it!
