Well, I got the file recovery to work ok. The problem is, the files it recovered were ones I already had, and not from the day I am missing. I must have another card somewhere that has these photos on, the problem is, is that I am not real sure how many cards I have.

I do have to wonder why the empty directory actually showed it was created on the day in question.

Yack, I dislike having to recover files

BTW, I know lots of you are on facebook, so I'd like to pass a warning to you:

In case you weren't aware, it looks like some of the Facebook "applications" are actually scams.

Last month I tried three different "applications." One of them was an I.Q. Test, I don't even remember the others.

One thing they all three did was ask for my cell phone number to send me a verification number.

After I entered my verification number, I received a text message indicating I was signed up for one free month of a service on my cell phone. I immediately sent them the "stop" message they indicated would cancel the service.

Today, I received my cell phone bill and there were two $9.99 charges and one for $19.99 for these services.

Once again I sent them the "stop" message and I received a reply indicating I no current subscription.

I call AT&T and they were able to credit my account for th $29.97. They also told me that one of those subscriptions was still active.

Anyway, the bottom line is don't enter your cell phone number into any of these Facebook apps

You may have seen these on Facebook. Sometimes they appear near the legitimate buttons for another application, others are worded to goad you into trying their "application"

I've never been bit by them, and always wondered what happened if you gave them your cell number. Well, that's what happens. Beware.

I finally processed the photos that I'm printing for the large frame that my parents gave us for Christmas. Took me long enough.

The frame has 6 holes, 5x7s and 4x6s, some portrait, some landscape, so my options were somewhat limited.
It's an 'old' wood style, shades of brown. Gorgeous. I'll photograph the whole frame when it's finished.

I wanted the photos in it to be subtle and blend, so that's why I processed them like this. :D

And another that I liked, but no room for it in the frame. I'll probably print it for a different frame.

Lovely! I love the location.

Oooooooooooo...............gorgeous!

G'mae folk. Ian didn't sleep until 8 today. I guess 3 days in a row was too much to hope for. Aidan is still out though so it's all good. One kid at a time is SO much easier.

Nothing exciting on my plate today....just a walk to get the mail. And, well, house chores. Stupid laundry and cleaning never ends.

G.mae folks.. Woo Hoo.. Summers back. At least summer of 2009. 18% gray and rain threatening. Looks like it's going to dump in a few. The weathere dudes are predicting rain all week. At least we got two nice days, or at least dry days.

These are georgous Cat. I love the second one and the last one, the one you were not putting in the frame.

What would work best is if you could find your SanDisk recovery disk....it seems to have better luck finding and make files that work.

Sandisk has never failed me.

That's when I stopped taking the IQ test is when they asked for my cell phone number. I never thought of charges, I figured I'd be spammed.

Great advice, just say NO!
