Awww.

Lunch here:

Aidan: beans and franks, fried zuccini, peas

Ian: yogurt, fried zuccini, peas

Me: we'll see

Anyone have a good recipe for hummus?

Red pepper - chopped fine or blendered in with it? I'd be tempted to try it with feta cheese some time.

Yes I do..
Take the beans, smoosh them up and toss in the garbage. There, done..

I hate beans. :)

Use chick peas then, problem solved. :p

Permagrin wrote in post #8119998 (external link)
yes but WHOSE signature shots? That is the question....

I would imagine it they would be Chris's, even though he was not around for these shots. Didn't everyone steal at least a couple of his sig shots?

I hate those little glass balls of death. Ian is always finding the ones that are in the ODD places and in the mouth they go.

For some reason, now I have this lumpy feeling in my throat and an uncontrollable urge to go "KAK, KAK KAAAHK" ... not to mention visions of Christopher casually popping a marble in his mouth >>>shudder<<<

gjl711 wrote in post #8119978 (external link)
Marbles will pass, now them little magnets really are magnets of death.

BTW. 3/4 of my kids made at one trip to the hospital because of a swallowed itel. My oldest swallowed a straight pin. How he got it is still a mystery and it was by shear luck tha my wife spotted it as he put it in his mouth. Before she got across the room, it was gone. However, the x-ray at the hospital showed it clearly. Took two days, and it passed without incident. Daughter ate a lego, and the youngest ate a button battery from them Tamaguchi games..

Yeah, I've heard of kids swallowing neodymium magnets and winding up with massive internal injuries when they stand near something steel... (Neodymium magnets can be extraordinarily powerful for their size. Larger ones can break fingers if not handled with care)

>>>>shudder<<<< My mom once swallowed a toothpick. Said she could feel it on its entire journey...

Yum! YUCK! Yum!

Yum! YUCK! Yum!

I lurve baked beans.. mmm.

And fried zuchini with a spritz of lemon... mmm mm.

Oooh, and fried okra with the same treatment..

...

My son apparently demanded broccoli the other day for lunch. He ate all of the broccoli out of the steamed veggies he was served, and ate all of his mom's broccoli, too.

:)
