They use bacon.

I think I have strangely abnormal cats. They seriously are unlike any other cats I've ever seen. Luna thinks she's a large panther, and Max thinks he's a dog.

Turns out Lois washed the bedding today. We're having a standoff to see who breaks down first and makes the bed. I'm hiding in the office.

Just heard on the news.......Rev. Al Sharpton is getting ready to hold a news conference about Michael Jackson.

Gloria Allred can't be far behind.

I turned if off when Sharpton appeared...

Wife listening to Larry King *gack* and both Celien Dion and Cher are babbeling on what a great guy he is and how this is more shocking than the Kennedy assassination.

Lordy... What are these people going to come up with next?

Oh, and does anyone else ever do this:

Catching up, working on a MMQ, then you are reading someone's post, and they quote something you don't remember seeing, so you follow it backwards and find a whole freaking page that you missed??
I HATE when that happens.

I do it all the time... I think it's age.

Two new knives. Top one is the same Damascus with rosewood handles for my sheath maker. Bottom one is for me. It is standard high carbon steel with purpleheart and maple handles. I really have to get a DIY lightbox done for these.

Nice! I like the bottom one. Can you make a sheep's foot or mariner's blade?

Neat knives. Are you familiar with Anza Knives (external link)?
Most are ground file blades with laminated wood and bone handles. I have 2 I bought many years ago. I will try to get a shot for you.If you are learning to grind they have many interesting blade designs you could copy. I like how some file detail is left in the blades.
