I am not a computer person but doesnt that mean they will give you thje messed up version for half off until they work the bugs out? Is there a beta version out?

Pretty much. There's a Release Candidate you can download until like Aug. 15 I think for free. It'll expire on or shortly after ship date but you can see if you want to go that route. They're not offering an "upgrade" for XP users; you'll need to do a straight-out full install (which means reinstalling everything else, too).

Zane, upon a quick google search, it seems it may be difficult to rent a good underwater housing for the 5d. DANGIT, I really, really want to do some underwater pics of the kids w/o buying a disposable camera.

Check out a PowerShot and Canon housing - that'll run you less (combined) by at least half than a housing alone for your XT or 5D.

Starship's song "We Built This City" isn't on the list? It should be. That's a painful song to listen to...
...

And how can "It's a small world after all" not be on that list. That one would drive me totally batty withing the first stanza.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Recursive dreaming. I've had that happen before. Sometimes it takes a while to realize you finally ate at the top level of the recursive loop.

I also have a recurring theme to my dreams. If I fall asleep while I'm listening to the radio or TV with headphones I'll incorporate what I'm listening to in a dream. Then, at some point I'll end up trying to talk to someone only to find that I can't hear them. So I try to turn the radio/TV volume down but it doesn't work and I get very frustrated as I'm trying to figure out why the volume won't go down.

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

Just make you do not fall asleep whilst watching something like Nightmare on Elm Street then!

I haven't tried that yet, but there's another good idea! I'll have to put their Spice World DVD on (yes I own a copy) and see if I get to meet them in my dreams... :D

Nice! I like the bottom one. Can you make a sheep's foot or mariner's blade?

Right now I am making whatever blade shape is available to buy. Within a few weeks I am hoping to be grinding my own. I'll either heat treat myself or send them out.

short5 wrote in post #8177475 (external link)
Neat knives. Are you familiar with Anza Knives (external link)?
Most are ground file blades with laminated wood and bone handles. I have 2 I bought many years ago. I will try to get a shot for you.If you are learning to grind they have many interesting blade designs you could copy. I like how some file detail is left in the blades.

Thanks I have been saving threads (from another forum) and websites with images of blades shapes I like. I am also trying to get a hold of the farriers around here. Their old farrier files make fantastic blades.

Obviously the evidence proves differently.

Dood she so busted you.

I will pass it on to her, she is at the airport right now. Seems I might actually be quite young then. :p

Jim I forgot to mention. If she gets in trouble just call and I can go bail her out.
