We're off for the weekend. Going to go to my sister's and spend the weekend at the lake with the canoe. *grins stupidly*

We aren't actually leaving till about 12 or so, but I have dishes to do, and bags to pack, and some dogs to play with.
I'll try to check in again before we leave. :D

*has good weekend envy*

Have fun!

Lisa has done that with me a couple times. The one time she caught me fooling around with another woman in her dreams. She was pissed at me for most of the day, and could not shake it. I could have accepted it better if I had of had the dream too. :D

LOL! You make a very valid point, Bear

Tiff, good luck on whatever you decide, remodel or new house.

Hi Mike, nice hat. :D

Thanks for the avi props people. It was custom made for me about a year ago. If you talk real nice to the artist, he might be persuaded to make one for you too!:D

But not as good as the original HERE (external link)

WOW I am seriously impressed. Pink really nailed that song.

It's a short-term memory issue. I kinda' forget who's dead or alive. I had a big debate with Lois the other day. I was convinced that Carlos Santana was dead. The blank stare convinced me I'd better google him straightaway. He appears to be quite healthy.:o:o:o

Quite well and playing a long term gig in Vegas.

Enjoy your weekend. I'm slightly jealous.

Tiff I think you should remodel. I know it is a pain but you can't buy what an old house gives you.

So the morning doves have figured out where I keep the bag of bird food. I could hear something outside our door and when I looked out there were about 15 doves on top of the bag trying to figure out how to get in.

Off to the grindstone. See ya.

I know.

However, my husband is of the "do it cheap" variety. It'll just be good enough but not what it could be. Know what I mean? To do it right, and not half-ass it, is not going to happen. So, why go through the stress of a remodel (and put the boys through it) for marginal improvement at best.

G'morning all.

Cat have fun at the lake.

Becky, *points at the snake* show no mercy ;)

Neil, great song. I hadn't heard Pink's version before.

Well, I can't remember anything else.

Hale update. She just had her first accident. I was beginning to think she was going to ace this potty training thing. Dangit.

One accident in a week is pretty amazing. I'd say she is doing very well.

I really hadn't paid a lot of attention to Pink before. That was a pretty impressive rendition that Neil linked. Kind of a smoother version of Janis.

Hey Ick....question about files turned into knives....with the file being so hard, does that pose any problems with shaping the blade and ultimately with putting a finished edge on it?

GOSH! I'm supposed to be getting ready to go, and instead, I got roped into putting pictures on FB.
So yeah, I'm still lingering here.

:D

Lisa, I can't believe it took her this long to have an accident! That's wonderful!

I was the first time I heard her sing the blues too. I always pictured her doing pop music, and dying her hair bleach blond.

Given this reasoning, I think renovating may not be the best thing. A poorly done job may help with your lifestyle, but will not add value to the home, and in fact may devalue it some. Besides, there would also be the added marital stress to think about too.

Hale is doing great on the potty thing. Good for her (and you too). :D
