We were taking a client out for lunch today at my favorite Mexican restaurant. The client just called and canceled, so now I get to have lunch with just my wife.

Lunch at a good Mexican restaurant? Oh, I'm so there! *checks clock to see if I can make it there in time...*

No? Cwap! :(

We're off for the weekend. Going to go to my sister's and spend the weekend at the lake with the canoe. *grins stupidly*

Have fun, sounds great.

Lisa has done that with me a couple times. The one time she caught me fooling around with another woman in her dreams. She was pissed at me for most of the day, and could not shake it. I could have accepted it better if I had of had the dream too.

:lol::lol:

RE: Bounce and mosquito's: This method was told to me by my aunt. It works for me and most of my family. It needs to be a fresh, not used, dryer sheet. I have used other brands, bounce seems to work better, probably because the scent is stronger. I will rub one on my clothes/exposed skin and tuck another one in a pocket, leaving part of it exposed. In a mosquito saturated area, nothing is 100%, but I prefer fabric softener to deet *shrug*
I will also tuck one under Pup's collar.

I'm going to try it, certainly can't hurt.

For mossies I do nothing but swat them, or wear protective clothing. Mostly, their bites don't bother me at all,

That's the problem, not all, but several swell abnormally big and irritate stronger and longer than others. Benydril doesn't seem to help but Bite Off does. Best thing is meat tenderizer right after being bitten, works best with one's own saliva, wet the bite area, sprinkle with meat tenderizer and leave it until the grains fall off on their own.

I guess I will just have to stick to camping with my trailer, or canoe, for a bit then.

I could live with that plan.:D

I will make it a point to attend also, if I live that long.;)

Some people swear by it and others at it....but Avon Skin So Soft works for me. A little dab of that and the bugs pretty much avoid me.

I love it when I can belch and chew with my mouth open.

You're lucky, I am not allowed to do that even in front of Lisa. Though those 'surprise' belches can't be avoided. ;)

And, Ian seems to have developed a rash now. Doc says to quite the antibiotics.

Definitely quit the antibiotics, one of the first signs to allergic reaction. It happened to me with ampicillian, so no more of the 'cillians at all for me. Doctor told me each reaction can get worse so don't take them.

Yep. He had a little rash like this pop up the last time he was on antibiotics...but we thought it was just from the fever.

I guess we are a little more reserved on this side of the pond, opening up like that would be very odd indeed. Call me unfeeling but all I can see is him turning up at his high-school shooting more than a camera.

Hi all!

Just got back from a Kona training lesson. We moved to private lessons because we needed help with specific things (recall) and oh my gosh, it was the most informative hour we've spent. She actually saw how he behaved (he stole something from her) so she showed us what to do first hand, since she was dealing with what we deal with every day. It worked SO WELL!! (not just food related training but toy related too...gosh it works well)

And we practiced all the recall exercises and they work with him.

I'm so glad we switched from the classes. It was a good move for us.

One accident in a week is pretty amazing. I'd say she is doing very well.

I would too. I was jus thinking that "at least potty training won't be hard"

sevillafox wrote in post #8179187 (external link)
Permie, that's great that she's only had one accident! Look on the bright side. ;)

I'm not missing it. I promise :)

cfpackerfan wrote in post #8179232 (external link)
Lisa, I can't believe it took her this long to have an accident! That's wonderful!

I was shocked into a lull myself.

BearLeeAlive wrote in post #8179249 (external link)
Hale is doing great on the potty thing. Good for her (and you too). :D

lol, yeah, I'm pretty much the one that's potty trained  at least I know when to take her out. So she's been great.

Okay, off to go grocery shopping.
