My county considers discharging a pellet gun the same as a firearm:roll: My Ruger .22is about 3 times quieter than my RWS model 36 pellet gun. The squirrels around the house like ME so I don't fight with them.

Eh, just come up some day. BTW, I have a burning desire to scope out a new shooting location....wanna dream something up with me, despite that its July and gonna be hot as hades? I don't have any actual locations in mind.

No, I think I am a bit of a bow snob. I have never been fond of cross bows. Around here they have crossbow seasons running consecutive with bow seasons. It brings the slobs, who couldn't take the time to learn archery, into the woods.

The reason they banned crossbows for hunting here is very similar. They were allowed in the bow zones, which usually have lots of game that is not too spooked by people, and there is really not much sport to using them, as they are so accurate at close range. That, and it takes very little practice to be able to use one too.

CHET, nice family rant. :D

It would be illegal here, just that even the higher powered pellet guns are quieter then most .22's, at least the ones I have.

Squirrels here are a real pest and out of control. Rarely do you see a native squirrel, the imported ones have taken over, big time. I would be there are more squirrels living in Calgary, then people, especially in the established neighbourhoods.

Thanks. I like cats too. :) That one on the rug ran away, but Ed said it was no concern of his. Only the bait shop was closed, oh well right!

My nephew driving the tractor with the bird feeder in back.

My daughter running over her brother on the coin op car.

She gives up and goes to the swing.

I should heed the warnings but wife is in the house.

Ian gets his driving lesson by cRaZy cousin.

Crazy cousins turn.

Ian gives up and takes the other car... Must be a Ford...

Needs a tow, and he's serious.

Your kids sure are cute. That cousin though she does look a little crazy.
