Great shots and great dogs! I hope you were able to adopt one....I love my greyhounds. We recently had to put down our first and went out the next day and adopted another. The "45mph couch potato" slogan says it all!
Thanks for the photos.

Rosie

Rosie,

If I could adopt another I would!!!!. I have 2 big boys. 78lbs and 85lbs. I have picks of them on here. So I won't repost them. So having said that I have to ask if our were related. Gino's (hey now hardaway) parents are Greys statesmen and By noon and Speck (speculation) parents are molotov and beeline marlene

My two are ex-racers, so I'm not sure of their lineage :) Rocket was our first, a big boy at 75 lbs. He was very pathetic, must have been beaten, didn't wag his tail or look at us for 2 years, but when he finally came out of his shell, he was the sweetest, most affectionate dog. I miss him greatly.
When we lost him, we got Homer...the complete opposite...extremely outgoing and exuberant...very sweet, as well. Last time we checked, he was 80 lbs. He'll be six years old next month.
I recommend greyhounds to everyone I know. Most people have the misconception that they're high strung, but I tell them that except for racing once or twice around the yard, I have to pry this dog out of his bed!
