Try a shot without a big smile, still smiling, but the kind of smile you'd do if you needed to smile but someone just dropped your new L. Older people don't usually look so happy, we've had too long for too much crap to happen. And I'd like a darker background. No reason why I can explain, just would.

And I like the scruff on the face. I've seen plenty of 40yolds doing it, and it looks nice. Can you photoshop a few gray whiskers in there?

Nah mate, darken the lines in the face (pull down a plaster ceiling - works a treat!) - have a couple of sleepless nights and keep the lighting subdued, et Voila!

yeah Dave I would do another, I think the picture makes you look younger than you are.. plus its kinda *sorry* dorky? I don't know just make it a little different than what you would see on a realtor's business card, if its for your site

Heh! You're much more experienced at photography than I am so you'll have much more idea of how to pull it off - I've only dabbled on & off for the past 20 years! This is the first time I've really started to take it seriously

max, you are soooo right. I have one AB800 and I can buy some baby oil.......but I'm not very good at shooting so it would take me a loooooong time.
