And while an extender would help it would also slow your lens by one stop resulting in an effective 420 f4. Where you could have a a EF400 F2.8 and a EF500F4. Incidentally Adoroma is listing a Canon USA Refurbished EF500 f4 on there website. I'm just a simple maker of love charms and tokens,who occasionally takes a picture or two.
