I do.;)

Although I'm not a short girl......at 5'10 those stilettos make me pretty doggone tall. If you're willing to let me walk all over you in them, I'm game.:cool:

5'10'' + stilettos! SWMBO is only 5'3" so kind of really appreciates the extra height heels/platforms give her - means she can reach the top shelves in the kitchen cupboards without getting the steps out :)

BTW, before she gets home (she'll kill me if she sees me writing this!) her favourite brand is probably "Pleaser" - had to share that :lol: (what kind of name for shoes is that?!). For a joke, she showed me the "Devious" brand on one of her shopping websites - I'm not even going to try to put what I said into intelligable English!

Glad my folks kept my name nice and simple - not a lot that can be done with it.

For sure, having a name like "Neilwood32" pretty much ensures that the other kids will have a hard time coming up with silly nicknames on the playground:)!

@krepta
yes I'm serious about that, they really named their children that way, for the one called Orignal, I'm not sure, I think it may be Caribou but I'm can't remember wich of the two
and also, where are you from in Québec? :)

It must not feel too warm for him when la chasse aux caribous or la chasse a l'orginal is open!

I am from the Montréal area. My family lived in Brossard on the Rive-Sud and we moved to California well before it became part of the arrondissement de Longueuil (I still don't know what the whole deal was with the merging and unmerging of cities that took place the past few years). I come back to Montréal about once a year to visit friends and family.

I know many other Québécois who live here (children of my parents' friends who moved here as well), but nearly all of the them have lost their French because they never use it. I still speak in French to my siblings and parents; speaking to them in English really feels awckward, hehe.

You have to wonder at the cruelty/stupidity/thoughtlessness of some parents!

Hmmm, is it too early to be drinking?

Well that might ruin all the fun. Unless I walk over you, really, really slowly.:cool:

On the names, I was kinder to my children. I birthed a Marilyn Jessica, we called her Jessica but she uses Lyn sometimes....and a William Thomas, goes by Billy, occasionally Bill but at 6'7 he could get away with Sue.

Me, I got saddled with Penny, not Penelope like one would imagine. Nope. Penny, like a nickel or a dime only cheaper.......

I'd say "A Penny for your thoughts", but then you'd be all mad at me and such...
