You have to wonder at the cruelty/stupidity/thoughtlessness of some parents!

Not cruel or stupid, just getting their revenge in ahead of time. Kind of like a preemptive spanking.

Hmmm, is it too early to be drinking?

The answer to that question is always the opposite of the question "Are you awake?"

Me, I got saddled with Penny, not Penelope like one would imagine. Nope. Penny, like a nickel or a dime only cheaper.......

Not hardly. A penny is actually worth more in raw components than its face value. ;)

BTW - Are you not working, or did they lift the POTN ban at the office? I thought daylight hours were verboten for our dear Penny to be visiting.

Careful, you'll get Sam all excited! ;)

lol!!! *hic*

Hmmmm, my background just arrived this week - should I even attempt photography after a nice bottle of Malbec? I suppose SWMBO will be more amenable after said bottle...

Or is it xbox time? Decisions...

I'd say "A Penny for your thoughts", but then you'd be all mad at me and such...

I just wish I had a nickel for every time I've heard it. Then I could have quite the collection of photo gear. :)

zaathrus wrote in post #8925297 (external link)
pics!! ;):D

Penny's a pretty name though? Penelope is sooo Thunderbirds;)

lol! Hey, you're a photographer & scuba diver, so clearly not cheap!

Very good point.....should I mention the road bike, the mountain bike and the touring bikes in the garage too? You're right, I am rather expensive, at least I pay for them myself!

I had heard that the materials and labor to make a penny is more than a penny.....too bad my work doesn't realize my true value!!

No, still verboten at work. I am at home. Splitting headache which is unfortunately caused by some nasty neck issues that are exacerbated by staring at my monitor all day, while completely stressed out. (I actually slept eleven hours last night.....and still didn't feel refreshed AND had the headache:rolleyes:)

Have you got a wheat bag? Microwave it for 2 mins & use to warm neck :) Chamomile tea and lemon balm tea are good for de-stressing (I find anyway)

You just need a good neck rub and a hot bath. ;)

I can't remember the last time I got even six hours of sleep. In bed by 1am, up at 6am. Sleep is for the weak.

At least the killer schedule is making side money to feed my horrible habit... I recently finished three concurrently running projects and invoiced just over 300 hours.

Wayne

At least its not Walter (aka Wally).

I worked with a Wally who had a very thin skin and zero sense of humor.

Unfortunately for him the room full of all male contractors at the power plant where we worked absolutely relished making him squirm.

It really was quite fun.
