I'm glad we haven't lost this thread - thanks to the mods for cleaning it up (and not closing it).

Anyhow, still trying to sort out SWMBOs new lappy - windoze 7 virgin

Back to the "grind" - have a good (rest of the) weekend all!

Not sure what happened since yesterday and i dont want to know. Head in the sand is good for me.

Oh that is a sure fire way to get hit - making comments like that Lazuka.

I've said a lot worse on here.

I figured I'd get the party started.

The 'event' that you missed wasn't fun at all.

Hmm, glad I was conveniently away then

Is Windows 7 good or not? Or is it the usual " wait til SP1"?

The TF told me she/he loves this thread so the rage from TF will be severe if we have to intervene in this thread once more.

I'd actually love it if the title fairy was severe.

Maybe even nuclear, mass destruction, etc.

Can you imagine a scenario where every person on the site ended up with a title of "Bunny Tickle Britches" (or some such), all at one time?

I don't know how the hopping hamster will like it, but it may be the best Windows yet as far as I'm concerned. No problems so far - as the Mac folks like to say, "It just works" (although I have to admit it was an incredibly huge pain to get the upgrade installed over Vista, mainly due to an undocumented except on the Internet glitch that some people, like me, encounter in the upgrade process). :D

Has the TF's activity been spotted lately. Maybe she is on Thanksgiving holiday early.

As I understand it the TF has taken some revenge over the brouhaha which prompted the moderators and Administrates to do some house cleaning. But I think that he/she is just watching and waiting ....

Funny how we start that way and then often end up the same much later in the journey...
