I'm not comely, but I've got a little Scotch-Canadian on my Mom's side.;)

Is that Scotch-Canadian or Canadian Scotch?

Maybe we'd have an easier time to get you to misbehave in the PONG thread, hehehe... ;)

Well I'm the Scotch-Canadian but the Canadian Scotch is in me.:p

My 19 yo is always amused to see what is on the liquor counter (next to the coffee pot, with full variety on top of the kitchen cabinets). Last night she saw a few new ones and was wishing that she could have spent the night, but she had to work in the morning.

I have nothing at all to say.

Just checking to see that I'm not banned.

Mmm thanksgiving. American (Canadian?) tradition that's not celebrated outside those bounds.

When is this "thanksgiving"?

Of course, being Australian, we're thankful every day. So we don't need a special day (thankful our ancestors* left England). :p

We Canadians celebrated our thanksgiving a month ago. Americans celebrate it late and, for some strange reason like to deep fry their turkeys.

Didn't you see that Simpsons (season 11 I think) where Homer deep fried his shirt?!

I have tried it, and I still don't understand it. It seems like a gratuitous excuse to deep fry yet another meal.
