They seem to have hit me, yes. Although by hit I mean typed a user title for me. I was going to say something else as well, but I'd better not in this thread, knowing that the TF is lurking about. (I'm wondering whether I should refer to the TF as a he, she or it. Although I'll use "they" for now as it is not declarative of a gender.)

And you're probably right about the first part, although I think I might've made a mistake in staying

Eons ago, I proposed a new third person singular pronoun that was not gender specific. It was a simple four-letter combination of "she," "he," and "it," but nobody seems to want to use it.

If you took the "it" out of the equation, you could get "shim" and it wouldn't be a word nobody wants to use, LOL.

We have a Practice Mannequin in nursing school that is ......um....... transgender? We call it the Shim.
