Congrats! Did that for 19 hours drug-free, then ended up with an epidural because they made me have a c-section... I wasn't gonna let them gut me without drugs of some sort (of course, they wouldn't have let me continue drug-free either)

GAH! I think I really had an easy labor, though. My labor was only 11 1/2 hours, and the the only really painful part was the last 2 1/2 hours. Everything before that was cake!

NO labor is easy. LOL. I came into the hospital in very early labor and didn't know it (I was stupidly coming in for induction --- live n learn). Labor woulda been better if I would have been able to get out of bed!

And 11 1/2 hours sure is long enough!!!! LOL

Please be sure that all my Scottish digs are aimed at Neil. He is sooooo worthy.

Any digs aimed at you would be the Real McCoy.

You're right. It was for sure the hardest thing I've ever done, but I hear all of these stories of women having it much worse than I did!

There's always someone who has it worse than someone else (unless you're at rock bottom I suppose). You totally deserve credit for what you were through... and a whole lot of chocolate! :D (Maybe that's why I'm almost 5 months out and I still have 5 pounds to lose... too much self-indulgence?)

I had a coworker who was expecting in the middle of April, so naturally we started a birth pool and being the SMK that I tend to be I chose April 1, only to be told "don't you dare jinx me that way" so my choice was changed. Anyway as the blessed event came closer Connie went into labor late on March 31 with the intent not to give birth on April Fools Day, She was unsuccessful and I am told that it is all my fault.....

And no I did not know her that well....

No. It's because chocolate is a Hatfield plot.

Toblerone is too "high shelf" for a redneck such as myself.
