Does the Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC HSM AF Lens fit my Canon rebel xt? I it a good lens, in comparison with the Canon wide lens (The 10-22mm)

CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THE CANON 10-22MM WORTH THE PRICE DIFFERENCE? i ALMOST BOUGHT IT ($700) AND HAPPENED TO SEE THE SIGMA ($429).

Myself I have and prefer the Tokina 11-16/2.8. Do some searching on this forum. A zillion threads discussing this already.

i personally don't think it is...and if i was going to spend more money, i'd definitely look at the tokina as it looks to be the best...

It's a great lens, and as someone who was not on a limited budget when I chose my UWA, I went with the Sigma. I also would have done with the Tokina before spending more money on the Canon. The Canon was not worth 50% more to me. I think the images produce similar results.
