Anybody know of any photography courses near LA that I could go to in order to get some type of semi-official certificate stating that I can do general photography well? I need it for when I move back to Europe. I basically just need some general training courses.

Any good online courses could work too I suppose.

Wouldn't a good portfolio be the best proof that you can do general photography well? I wouldn't hire somebody with 20 certificates if the pictures they showed me were junk.

Well, Austria is weird like that man, they need a hard copy of something saying that you know how to do it from an actual business that trains people, its a pain in my butt.
