My daughter is a special effects artist and loves body painting and gave me a call to do an informal shoot after painting this friend who has 4 weeks to go to the birth - a thoroughly enjoyable shoot that has spawned an idea or two for a business venture. Shutter 3.2 Aperture F4.0 Iso 100 Focal length 18mm

I like it.

The one catch before I go any farther: the monitor I'm using is admittedly too dark. I would like to see a bit more light focused on the face, and I would like to see the right hand straightened up a bit to look a bit more natural.

I do like the sheets surrounding her as well.

I purposely seated her at a window in a darkish room to look for that "Vermeer" effect and the focus is more on the expectant part than the mother part - also with her disposition she couldn't really sit in the seat like a normal person so straightening it up might not work - will have a look at that - my normal day job is picture framer and the two that I have framed up look superb but thanks for the response

I really like it. It is different. However the bluish fabric of the chair ruins it for me. If you had covered the chair first with black, brown or gold to compliment the rest of the photo it would be great.
