It's a 2.51 million serial Springfield Armory, made sometime in January of 1944. Good possibility it saw action in June of 1944. Note: The rifle pictured is all correct (including the Type II lockbar rear sight) except for an aftermarket barrel and stock (definitely not USGI original wood).
