Bit the bullet on 5D...

So I have 14 days to test an essentially new (but marked used) 5D......I actually had a lucky day>

5D used (+ 3 year full warranty)
70-200 2.8 IS (4 years old, 9/10)
580EX II (used but not used)

...for $800 less than new 5DII!!!

The firmware on it is 1.1.1..

..is that the latest???

1.1.1 is the latest firmware according to Canons website. I was thinking it was 1.2.3, but maybe thats my other camera. Anyway, you have a great combination hope it works out for you. below is the link to check for updates on the 5D. It is a great camera.

I just got mine back from a repair trip at Canon and the firmware was updated to 1.1.1.

I got the 70-200 2.8IS for 900 CDN, 580EX II for 280CD, and the 5D for 1375CDN....the first two are amazing deals, the 5d is below what I see too...
