Have any of you guys gotten tablets of tear off coupons and/or flyers to promote your business? I'm talking something larger than a business card, maybe 4x5 that you can put more information about who you are and maybe a coupon for your services. I'm thinking one of those glossy tear off pads but I can't seem to find anyone that prints them, such as overnight prints or vistaprint. Has anyone used this type of thing as a marketing tool and where did you order them?

Why do you need a tear off? If you are printing a card, just put "Present this card for 20% off your next service or order." What does a tear off perforation buy you?

And have you done any research into the return rate of those kinds of mailers or card/flyers? I think you'll be shocked at the return rate and my be inclined to pass on it.

I suppose it doesn't HAVE to be tear off, I was thinking more like a notepad type thing with each page printed with the information you want....and you could order a whole tablet of them.

I have done something like this in the past, 2-3 discounts printed on the back of a business card. I used a "small" hole puncher when they used up one of their discounts. They get to keep the card and the contact information and I got the business.

Hmmm..... this is a great idea. I usually hand out fliers at events (half page, standard printer paper). I think that a larger flier will be found easier in a purse or pocket and will be less likely to get lost, as opposed to a business card.

I wonder if Vista or one of the other printers can do dark text on an entire pad? I might have to email them later. This is a great idea.

This place does notepads (Vista does as well). I wonder if this place, Vista or one of the other printers can do dark text on an entire pad? I might have to email them later. This is a great idea.

Just make sure the "used holes" not going to interfere with the information on the front of the card. You would hate to put a hole in your phone number.

Here are some of the Microsoft ones and Adobe
2007 Word Template under new template
as above with Publisher

I use Adobe Ai template that came with the 2003 Design Premium there are a few with that

hope that helps.

I put my flyers out with five different discounts. Four are useless and the last is 50% off an enlargement. The others range rom free onlocation setup fee etc...it actually works for me
