Mathematically, yes. The Earth-Moon complex is a double planet, since the moon's orbit is at all times concave to the Sun. It is the only "satellite" to have such an orbit.

The Earth has less gravitational effect upon the moon than the Sun does. Newton's gravitational equation proves it.

Fascinating, tell me more of this human term... "gravy-tea".

It's something that true ninjas learn to master. Talk to your sensei.

When I left the dojo I killed him (well, I saw a cloud of smoke and he was gone... I assume my awesomeness was just too much for him and he exploded).

I now learn under master K. Rockwell.

He didn't know what gravy-tea is either... though he did have a lot of opinions about it.

Is gravy-tea what causes humans to fall into water when running across it? Is it the thing that stops them from jumping backwards into trees?

Glad you could see through the crude diagram, I decided to make a much more technical and accurate version:

You didn't have image editing on so I didn't have a go with it. I would like to say however, that you're photoshop techniques are amazing. Please advise on your lighting setup. Is that a single light source on the left?

:D

Wow, all this because someone got their knickers in a twist at people who aren't photographers wanting to take a picture. Only on POTN

Tune in next week..... ;)

Knicker-twisting, you say? Tell me more about this fascinating concept.

Thanks! It was a single light source, but I cheated a little. It was a 7-frame HDR through a graduated ND.

i guess your right.. there are people who even uses those expensive cameras and never even bother to dig the very details of it as long as they're satisfied with the result of the pictures, i guess that's about it.. but if someone will have to do it in a more professional way, then i guess they should consider those important factors.. just my two cents.. :)

I didn't pay all this money to read. I paid to be good.

I suck at Photoshop.
