I really like this photo, but I have a question...
The brightest part of the photo is the white fur just to the left of Lady's head.
Compositionally the rule is (and a part of me hates saying that) for the subject to be the brightest thing in the photo, so your eye isn't immediately drawn to the face because of the bright spot.
But, the photo is beautifully exposed, and her head is clear and sharp, so I'm a little conflicted.

I would add that there's no detail in the white to hold your attention, so your eyes slide over to where they can see detail.

Two shots from a photoshoot I did yesterday. The dogs (there were two of them) decided to go for a swim halfway through the photoshoot so that explains the coat in the second image :-D However, there is something about the colors in the first image that is bothering me but I can't figure out what (or don't know how to make it better). Any thoughts?
