First day shooting it i shot near 1000 shots with it and massively overdid it and triggered my medical problems to the point of being mostly laid up in bed the next day..

You sound like me. I tend to overdue things and end up paying a big price sometimes...but I'm learning. Enjoy your new camera, but take it easy.

Springers are fantastic dogs. We lost ours about 10 years ago, due to old age.
