The image that started it all. This was my sweet old Lab mix Lucas who lived to be 17. He passed about a month after this shot was taken.

At the time I had just started second shooting some weddings purely to make money on the side while working full time. Now I'm a full time photographer, no longer shooting weddings, specializing in Pet Portraits and Business Headshots.

This is technically not a perfect shot. But it's displayed in my studio, on my notecards, and part of my tent/festival display because people notice it and comment on it EVERY time.

You say it is not perfect. I think perfection gets overrated at times, as it is perceived diffrently from one to another. I happen to think it is wonderfully done.

Well, THAT looks familiar!...and mighty good.

Fuji X-H2 w/SmallRig all-around L-plate.. Fugi lenses in 10-24/4, 16-55/2.8, 70-200, and 33/1.4, Canon TS-Es in 24/3.5 and 50/2.8, and Viltrox 75/1.2.. Gitzo GT-3533S Systematic tripod with leveler and Rogeti geared head.

My other willing (at times) model. This is Molly.
