Thank you Whippeticious. He is a fabulous boy. He is on antibiotics at the moment bless him as he has been poorly, but Beau is such a stoic little dog and I love him to bits and you would never know he has been under the weather as he is always so happy go lucky. I am really fortunate to have him as he is an absolute joy and always makes me smile. :)

I am new to both this forum and to DSLR. I hope I attached my image correctly and didn't violate the guidelines. Previous photo experience was limited to point and shoot.

Anyway, I know nothing about photography and am hoping that people who do know something about photography will tell me what I am doing right and what I am doing wrong and how to fix it. Thanks in advance!

Yay Iggies!! :D Hi Brainstormin, well the first thing you're doing right is taking photos and posting them. Just keep practicing.
