This is the balance of life and death, made plain in under twelve hours. These fungi rise triumphantly in the night and are burned away come morning. That intrigues me beyond wonder. I'm now working on my first project with a medium other than photography. I've gathered all kinds of paper, which I'll be using for mushroom ink drawings, splatters, and pressings of mushrooms.
I photographed the mushrooms around midnight, then again at 930am.
