I need some help .

Hello all ,

I need some help with this picture , i took a candid of my daughter , i'm not that good with PP , and i'm in the process of getting PS , i really like this picture but it looks to me like it needs some boost . i'm not sure i'f i'm posting this in the right place , Mods if you need to move it please do so . Can any of you guys help me make this picture better?

Here is my shot at it. I adjusted white balance and then adjusted skin color by number. I very lightly degrunged the skin of the face to remove blotchiness. I dodged the eyes a bit. Sharpened the eyes, hair, ear ring and lips. Using levels I very slightly brightened the face.

This is one try. You will find that others that work more with portraits will greatly improve on my PP.

What a cutie! Here's my go:
A touch of color to the skin, a little contrast, eye brighten, remove the juice on the shirt
I'm sure you'll have plenty to choose from though. No one can resist playing with portraits.

RW2's PP is the best one...

Warmer tones are always headed towards the right direction. Subtle constrast changes also helps. You may want to start there.

This is three quick ones I did with no photo altering at all, just played with sat a but. The sky is the limit of coarse but I kept it real simple.
