Nice shots Jay. Love the background in both of them! Excellent. Would have liked to see a tad more DOF, tails are OOF in both. Would have been nice to have a little fill flash putting a highlight in its eye. Like the 2nd one the best for sure. Thanks for sharing, they really have some nice colors!

Mark, Ken, Christian, RAW, skade, Mark, cfcRebel and Frank ... thank you all for your kind words and feedback in general.

Ken and RAW ... yeah, it would be nice to get more dof and get the whole bird in focus, but I was working with limited light and fill flash was not possible. My main goal was to keep the head/eyes in focus as best I could. I was trying to not go above iso400, too, but next time I'll try bumping that up.

Sweet shots Jay. I love these little ones - they are such a challenge with exposure, distance, and getting them to stand still for a moment. Nice work!
