Yet more from the Indianapolis Air Show (Sunday)

I took the time on Sunday morning to re-do the lens microadjustment on my 50D after the debacle I had on Friday. Almost everything I had shot on Friday was trash. I used a much more distant target (road sign 1/4 mile away) this time during the microadjustment. I am a MUCH happier camper now!

I'm not too crazy about the washed out skies on all of these, but I had to go +1/3 to +2/3 on the exposure compensation to make sure I got good exposures on the planes; I'm just not steady enough to attempt to spot meter on a moving target.

Nice series! I feel for you about the white/gray skies, we had the same overcast all weekend for our airshow, and most of the airshow last weekend too.

Thanks a lot! Sometimes the best shots are after the show is over; #5 & #6 were both taken long after the show ended as the aircraft were all leaving.
