Trying to decide between the Canon 10-22 & 17-40L, for my vacation in Aug at Bar Harbor Maine. Should have a 50D this weekend.

Jun 16, 2009 14:52 | #10 It really depends on the style of your photography. Last year when I went to Bar Harbor the only lens I had was the 28-135 IS kit lens which came with 40D. I found this focal length to be ideal. You can check a few pics which I took using this combo in this link

If you haven't made any travel arrangements, let me know I can suggest a couple of good places to stay in Bar Harbor. Thanks for the info, I will take my 28-135 (got my 50D) but still looking for a Canon 10-22 or maybe a Tokina 11-16. Should I be looking for a different wide zoom.
