As the title says really, I have done a couple of weddings as the photographer for friends and family and really enjoyed it. Would absolutely love to try and get some more work doing weddings.

I was wondering if people had any suggestions on how I might go about getting into the market?

Quick and dirty response:

I spent lots of money to get backups and backups to backups. As a start, you need another body, flashes, and faster glass.

Then second shot at weddings to gain more experience.

And started all the business procedures of becoming a legitimately recognized company and the associated tasks, insurance, titles.

Then you start marketing, also known as wasting money since most bookings come from previous happy customers.

I know I need better glass but was thinking I would hire the lenses as and where I need them till I can afford to buy myself!
