Thirst Quencher

Getting in under the gun on this one. I've been wanting to try a shot like this for a while, and this challenge gave me the excuse.

First, thanks to all that participated in the DSLR Speed Challenge!

Here are the three that I found best for this weeks topic of "Something Wet"

3rd place goes to "Gosling Twist" by Flo
Your subjects are cute and of course fit the topic of something wet perfectly ;)

2nd place goes to "Bare Foot Water Ski Team" by Mike53545
An excellent capture of Something Wet! The colors, sharpness resulted in an excellent photo to my eyes!

And finally the one that just looked the best to my eyes for the subject of Something Wet is:

1st place goes to "Thirst Quencher" by lavanut
The color and sharpness was just perfect, so perfect I thought my monitor got wet! Well done and excellent subject for Something Wet!

Of course all the submission were Great!
Thanks again to all participants! :)

I was glad I barely made it in this challenge and happy to have won! I can't wait to go do some more water experiments. Good thing I have lots of paper towels...

There were some other really great shots this week. Congrats to all the participants, and thanks for the comments!

The next challenge is up. I hope you have fun with "Naturally Framed".

P.S. Bryce, was that a boat riding in that water on purpose or caught in a flood/storm?Yikes!

Lavanut waited until 15 minutes before the end of the contest to spring his ninja attack on us.

We have been humbled. ;-)a
