I need to get a shutter count on my super clean 1D II. Can someone help me? I tried the Can Count and can't seem to get it .

Thanks in advance
Jim

To use it just run 1dcount.exe and browse for an image file.
when you double click can count then clck okay button it opens a window and select where any image file from camera is and double click image it then gives you the count in another window.

Jim,

If you use a windows computer follow this link and instructions.

http://freeweb.siol.net …foto/exif/exiftoolgui.htm (external link)

This is a windows GUI program for ExifTool. It is a great tool to have anyway and will show you every bit of information that is in the Exif including shutter count. It's freeware. The link for Exif Tool is on that page, just follow the installation instructions and enjoy. If you are a Mac user go straight to the ExifTool page and scroll down, I think that there are some mac interfaces as well. If you are a command line guy, just get ExifTool.
